Exciting Day Ahead

Hey! I have to make this short and sweet!  Sweet just like, YOU!!!! Errr no?  You don’t think that’s cute and funny? Okay I’ll stop. 😛

Today I was supposed to work with my student Cameron!  I work with an adorable boy who has Autism.  He’s another boy in my life.  Of course, no one will exceed my love Greg!!

In Korea after India missions! G-Money was sick too

But Cameron has been really sick!  He has the stomach flu and if you can, please keep him in your prayers!  So that means that I have to get his mom’s call tomorrow early morning to see if I get to go to school with him.  If he’s still sick, then that’s a NO-GO.

Today I had the opportunity to go to Lifeway Christian Bookstore and get Sharon’s birthday gift (Sharon is Greg’s momma)  and her birthday is tomorrow.  Yikes, it’ll be a day late.  😦  Forgive me Sharon?

There were so many cute things there!  But I’m trying to be frugal with my money and be a good steward of it all.

And finally, I picked out the card and the gift that I’ve been wanting to give her!

I know the title sounds mysterious and skiddish.

But trust me, it’s a WONDERFUL & CONVICTING book by the president of World Vision, and I just started reading it as per AJ’s suggestion.  Actually, she gave it to me so that I can pass it on to others!  ^.~*  I will be talking about this book later on so stay tuned.

_______________

Tomorrow will be EXCITING!!!  You know why?  Because Greg and I are going to take our “multiple children” to Boomers for a field trip!!  We volunteer for the M.A.D. Club, which stands for Making a Difference, and many other schools will be present at Boomers.  Oh man it’ll be one crazy day.  These cool cats are 5th graders, and there will be approximately 25 of them attending tomorrow.

At the Galaxy game with "The Beckham"

Now if only we could get them to stay still for 5 seconds~

Do you want to know the great thing about this?  A few weeks ago Greg received a big fat check of $300 from someone because they just felt like we would put it to good use!  They felt like God wanted them to do this.  And so we’re using some of that money to take the kids tomorrow and have a fun+blessed time together.

God is so good and always knows what we need!  He provides when He wants us to do something and delights in obedience over sacrifice.  See you soon and if you don’t hear from me for more than 24 hours then you’ll know what happened at Boomers….

Grace & Peace! Gnite and sweet dreams! <33

P.S:  Notice the new tab on top that says Q’s or A’s.  It’s there for your very own use. 🙂

  1. Super cute post! I love that you are mindful of being a good steward of your money. That’s something my husband and I talk about all the time.

And also, I think we have the same laptop! I’ve never seen someone else have the same one before! Is yours an HP Pavilion Dv4 2145dx? That’s what mine is! 🙂

    • HAHA COOL! we share so many similarities! I DO have the HP Pavilion Dv4. I once saw ONE other person who had it–I really like it and am grateful for it. Before this, I just used reg. home PC. I don’t think I can go back 😛

  2. Awwe yay!! That field tri[p is going to be so much fun! For both you and the kids. I’m excited for you! 🙂

  3. Oh how wonderful! What generosity of spirit on both the donor’s part and your part for taking the time to make so many kids happy 🙂 Have a wonderful day!

  4. It was totally a divine moment I tell ya! 😀 We’re doing it just b/c we’re so grateful to God and it’s the least we can do.
